Best Western Mission Bay, San Diego

The hotel has a stunning view on one side, but unfortunately, the rooms face inside towards the court, which is not only unpleasant but also unreasonable. Despite this, the rooms were very clean and spacious, equipped with a fridge, microwave, iron, and board. The size of the rooms seems inadequate for a hotel of this scale.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were a good size and clean, but unfortunately, there was a noise issue similar to the smell of pee. The service felt a bit robotic, although they did replenish low items. The location was good, although being near the freeway and experiencing gas smells in the morning was disappointing. The dining options were plentiful and satisfactory, but nothing extraordinary.

The hotel's location is convenient for accessing the race events and freeway entrance, making it great for travelers with cars. While the rooms can feel a bit small and crowded at times, they are adequate for smaller groups. The service is exceptional, although there were delays in some instances. The dining offerings are impressive, especially the breakfast spread, but some upgrades may be needed in certain areas. The hotel is close to Mission Bay and well-connected to public transport options, despite being near industrial sites and gas stations.
